Chefs2be was founded by Kendell Brenner in 2004. Kendell is an accredited chef, having graduated from the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in 1988. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Nyack College, and a MBA from Dominican College. Kendell is the full-time culinary instructor at the Rockland County Career and Technical Education Center in West Nyack, NY (BOCES) where he holds certified NYS teaching credentials, serving both regular and special education students.

His career path has included working at restaurants such as 29 Newbury in Boston, MA; Freshfield’s in Litchfield, CT; ABC Television and Movie Studios in Hollywood, CA; Rex IL Restaurant in Los Angeles; and served as the culinary specialist for the Wakefern Food Corporation.

Kendell is also the CEO for KBNY -- a multi-media food company that focuses on consulting and training development for corporations and educational institutions.

His privately-owned catering company, Green Harvest Gourmet, is located in Nyack, NY and his company has hosted many events for an elite clientele and many Fortune 500 executives and their guests, including Rosie O’Donnell, David Geffen and Pat Bronson. He also serves on the board of directors for Amazing Grace Circus in Nyack and is involved in community services in Rockland County.

Kendell has been featured in the “New York Post,” “At Home in Westchester,” “Westchester Seniors,” “A Taste of Pasadena,” and has appeared numerous times on “American Magazine Guest Chef Series.” Kendell is a native of Westchester County, NY and he and his family reside in Rockland County.
